Fundraising

The Lamar FFA has many fundraisers that rotate throughout throughout the year. Some of these are merchandise selling, mum making, poinsettia selling.

Fundraising Requirements

Students who have animals at the barn are obligated to help the Lamar FFA raise funds. Our unique fundraising requirements make it easier for both students and parents to help without paying out of pocket. Instead of having monetary goals, fundraising is hours based. Students must have 10 hours of fundraising per semester to be able to show at The Lamar FFA Show and Auction. Hours are earned by working on what we are currently selling like making homecoming mums or selling them. You can also earn hours by selling our fundraisers.

Poinsettias
Selling 10 poinsettias gives a student one hour of fundraising credit. Poinsettias are $12 each. They will be delivered to the school, and it is the student's responsibility to either coordinate their pick up or personally deliver them to the purchasers. There will be open sales after the plants arrive.

Homecoming Mum sales
Mum making is one of the best ways to earn hours. It takes a lot of work to make mums from scratch! We need people every step of the way from cutting ribbon to putting on finishing touches. We work right up until the Friday before Homecoming. Come help us out after school in Ms. Skrobarczyk's room, J110, on a designated mum making day. Be there no later than 4:15pm! More information about this opportunity will be posted as we get it. Purchased through school pay or at lunch.
